Seasonally adjusted data and charts

For seasonal adjustment, the MNB, together with HCSO, apply the JDemetra+ software, supported by the European System of Central Banks and the European Statistical System. Direct seasonal adjustment is applied, which means that both the time series of balances and aggregates are adjusted directly. Accordingly, the difference between the seasonally adjusted credits and debits do not need to correspond to the adjusted balances and the adjusted value of the aggregates does not have to correspond to the sum of the adjusted values of the components.
