FDI data including special purpose entities

In line with the international requirements, the MNB also prepares the FDI data including the SPEs on a gross basis, to facilitate the analysis of international data by mirror statistics. (On the other hand, Hungary’s data related to foreign direct investments can be analysed in economic terms also based on the data excluding SPEs.)
